It’s no secret that leaving eggs and butter out in room temperature leads to success in baking. I usually leave them out on the counter overnight so I can start baking in the morning. However, if you got carried away with life and forgot, no worries! Place eggs in warm (not hot!) water and let them sit for 5-10 minutes. Now with butter, I don’t like to use microwave to soften butter so I shred it instead and leave it to rest for 5-10 minutes. Now let’s start baking!.. Oooh I want some cake now!
